Cibernàrium is a huge, government funded computer training space offering a vast array of short intensive computer related courses (between 1 and 4 hours) for FREE!!!! Open to everyone, you can sign-up to the activities that interest you and create your own taylor-made course. Learn how to use Photoshop, Dreamweaver, the internet.
(Note: I took a refresher Dreamweaver course there around 2004 and I thought it was fantastic! I learned so much, had my own terminal to practice on and would definitely do it again: Germaine).

Set up in 1999, and located in the Barcelona Nord Technology Park. It is made up of a combination of spaces with the aim of promoting the access and the use of Internet in order to increase the opportunities for employment, business creation and innovation.

Cibernarium is organised in 2 training programmes, updated quarterly. Just choose the activities you want and build your own training itinerary which suits your interests and needs

A space to get trained and grow with Internet
A multi-purpose space aimed at turning the new technologies into a tool for professional development for people and companies. Its installations include:

Capsules and workshops for technological diffusion, to begin to use the new technologies and IT tools.

Advanced capsules for professional applications of the new technologies and of the tools for website design and multimedia.

Off Line browsing room. A space to experience a first approach to the new technologies by means of a wide range of audiovisuals and related experiences.

Online surfing room, a space for putting into practice the knowledge acquired and to surf freely by Internet at high speed.

Activities are divided into two categories / levels: "Introductory courses" (Inicia’t en Internet) and "Grow with the Internet" (Creix amb Internet) courses for more advanced users.
