12 weeks to beginner Spanish : Another BBC production. They'll send you a weekly email offering encouragement and tips to help you on your way to learning Spanish. And it's free of charge! The aim is for you to complete a beginner's course in 12 weeks. You'll even get a BBC certificate!
BBC talk Spanish: For absolute beginners, a comprehensive online resource including video and audio clips and transcripts, that complements the Talk Spanish BBC TV series and course materials
Business Spanish: BusinessSpanish.com is a compilation of Spanish lessons focused on business related topics. Each topic contains vocabulary and audio sections (ones I tried had Argentinian accents). Approximately two lessons are added every day.
Spancity: Free online grammar and vocabulary lessons with audio support (South American accents) as well as online dictionaries and quizzes for students of Spanish. This site is regularly updated.
Spanish Steps: A BBC production for Beginner students.
Sueños online: Sueños Online is another BBC link. It features a series of multimedia activities for beginners based on clips from the 20-part TV series. Users are invited to watch and listen to the clips first, then use the key language, key words and transcript to complete the activities. Activities include: buying things; food shopping in Mexico; shows and events; the daily routine and sightseeing.
