pareció extraordinario que cantidades de extranjeros se esforzaban
a estudiar castellano en Barcelona mientras que aún más
cantidades de castellano parlantes se pasaban horas, años
estidiando inglés. Estos dos grupos, aunque complementarios,
no se mezclaban entre si de una forma ludica y social. Esta situacion
me empujo a crear el English Oasis Cafe.
Al salir de nuestros paises, dejamos atrás nuestra red de
conocimiento, contactos y amigos. Cuando llegamos a Barcelona, buscamos
rehacer estos redes lo antes posible para sentirnos instalados,
en casa. ¿Quien mejor para ayudarnos a hacer esto que gente
de aqui y otros extranjeros viviendo en Barcelona?
La
idea era de crear un ambiente social y acojedor, añadir ventajas
linguisticas y oportunidades sociales para establecer el escenario
para un grupo de amigos abierto, acojedor, diversa e internacional
que se reunen tan a menudo que su agenda les permita.
The English Oasis Café is still in its embryonic stage, which
is why we are still calling it a "Project". It is continuously
evolving according to people's needs and feedback. All suggestions
for improvements and developments are always welcome!

know how many people express their gratitude for everything you
do, but I want you to know that you have been an encouragement to
me and a great representative for your city. I realize how much
work these events take to organize and are probably a huge blessing
